Southern Fried Chicken

Try out this simple recipe for classic southern fried chicken.

Ingredients:

1 Whole Chicken (Cut into pieces)
½ Cup of Milk
1 Cup of All Purpose Flour
¼ tsp of Pepper (To Taste)
1 tsp of Greek Seasoning
1 Egg (Beaten)
1 Cup of Canola Oil
1 tsp of Salt (To Taste)
1 tsp of Paprika
1 Plastic / Brown paper bag

Instructions:

Pour the flour, salt, pepper into the plastic / paper bag and shake to mix. Pour the beaten egg and milk into a mixing bowl and mix thoroughly. Dip each of the chicken pieces into the egg and milk mixture, and then coat in the flour bag, ensuring a full coat. Put canola oil in a deep frying pan and heat to 350F. Once oil is heated, carefully place the chicken pieces in, and fry for 20 – 25 minutes, turning to ensure both sides are done, until the flour coating has turned into a nice golden brown jacket. Once done, drain off on some paper towels and serve.
