Fried Ice Cream Recipe

We’re confident you’ll love this chocolate fried ice cream recipe.

Ingredients:

6 balls of Chocolate Ice Cream
1 Cup of Coco Pops®
¼ Cup of Chocolate Chips
Tube of Chocolate Sauce
½ Cup of White Sugar
½ tsp of Cinnamon
Can of Whipped Cream
1 Egg
1 tbsp of Vegetable Oil
1 tbsp of Milk

Instructions:

In a shallow bowl, mix up the Coco Pops®, chocolate chips and cinnamon. Roll each ball of ice cream thoroughly into this mixture, to coat them well. Place on square metal pan and place inside the freezer for 1 ½ hours. Crack the egg into another bowl, add the milk and beat with a whisk until frothy. Take one ball at a time from the freezer, roll quickly in the egg and milk mixture, then into the Coco Pops® mixture once again, and return to the tray in the freezer. Once done, allow to freeze for an hour.

In a skillet heat up the vegetable oil to 375F and fry the ice cream balls for no more than 30 seconds, rolling them around constantly to fry each side. They will brown very fast and you don’t want the ice cream to melt, you just want the outer coat to fry remember, not the ice cream. When serving, add a little chocolate sauce and a squirt of whipped cream.
